Serious health problems, injuries, and illnesses require immediate care. Emergencies are accepted anytime our practice is open and include:
- Trauma or injury
- Ingesting toxic substances like rodent baits, chocolate, poisonous plants, or medications
- Trouble breathing
- Uncontrolled bleeding
If you believe your pet is having an emergency, please call us at (503) 668-4137 or come to the clinic immediately. If you can call before coming in, a staff member will be able to advise you and prepare for your arrival. If your pet has a condition that is not life-threatening, but you feel they need care before an appointment is available, we offer urgent care services. We will try to adjust our appointment schedule to accommodate your pet’s needs.
