Emergencies don’t always happen during office hours.
Pet emergencies include such events as; hit by a car; ingesting toxic substances such as rodent baits, chocolate, poisonous plants, or medications; trouble breathing; and uncontrolled bleeding. A veterinary technician will determine if your pet is critical upon arriving.
If you feel your pet needs emergency treatment, do not hesitate to call or come directly to our clinic immediately. If your pet has a condition that is not life-threatening, but you feel it needs care before an appointment is available, we offer urgent care services. We will make every possible effort to adjust our appointment schedule to accommodate your pet’s needs. Emergencies are accepted anytime our practice is open.
If you feel you have an emergency with your pet, please call Barlow Trail Veterinary Clinic or come to the clinic immediately. If possible it is best to call before coming in so that a staff member can advise you on your particular emergency.
